-: Terror from the Earth :-

I got shoked after listening about the earthquake at 9:45 at the common room on TV while one of my friend was changing channel. They were telling that it is near delhi region like chandigarh, punjab, J &K and Islamabad. As soon as i listen this first line, i made a call to my home(Ghaziabad near delhi) I was too much tensed while it was rining, i got relexed when my brother picked the phone and told "they all are fine." Then i came back to TV and listen the news carefully.. this is how drastic it was:
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.6, struck at 0350 GMT and was centred about 95 km (60 miles) northeast of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, near the mountainous, heavily militarised frontier separating Indian and Pakistani Kashmir. It killed approximately 30000+ people till i wrote this.
An aerial view of a building collapse in Islamabad, Pakistan. Two blocks of an upmarket 19-storey building came tumbling down like a pack of cards in the earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter Scale which hit Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir, and parts of North India on October 8.

Pakistani rescue workers and policemen at the debris of a multi-storey building in Lahore that collapsed in the earthquake on Saturday.

History of Major Earthquakes :::

May it will not happen again....
