-: Kuke Subramanya, Dhramasthala N Vintage Car Museum :-

Hi friends,

OMG!!! One more Trip, Last Friday night(12-05-06) vasu came to my room with a proposal to visit Kuke Subramanya and Dhramasthala, Most sacred place in karnataka.
main

Even recently Sachin Tendulkar visited Kuku subramnaya to do puja and remove "Naga Dosha", about which i am not sure what it is. But felt that even players like sachin believes in it and it makes us more eager to visit and know about it.

So, decision of trip took only 1 minute, thing was to make the count of ppl upto 10, so can go by hiring vechile and can visit atleast these two places in one day. Since if we go by KSRTC bus then it's very difficult to visit both the places from NITK. but fortunately in 10 min itself we 10 were ready to go, Rajan Sir, Vijay, Shankar, Gururaj, Shailesh, Vasu, Amrit, Sumit chaudhary, rajnish, and me. This time again my room mate Pradeep refused to come, Unlucky fellow.

We started at 5:30 sharp from hostel and had our breakfast at B.C. Road again, as of last time. This time after having breakfast one of us( don't remember who was that) asked for the lolypop which was at the counter. so i offered it to him, but Errr... all started asking for lolypop one by one, and finally all where having the lolypop in their hand, Ya ... Including me except shankar and vijay, since vijay don't like it and shankar was on fast untill Pooja at temple. We had a lots of fun coz of those Lolypop in everyones hand, lots of comments passed on each other and then argumented by everyone.. it was amusing too much. i want to write all those but it may cost a lot of kick to me from my friends, so i am saving my ass by skiping it, Sorry for that.

Way to Kuke Subramanya temple goes through the dense forest called national park, but we could locate onlt two kind of wild amimals on the way, one was some cows and other some dogs that were also little bit dull then nornal dogs, i think we shold go inside the forest to locate some Wild animals like elephant, deer, leopard etc..

We reached Kuke subramanya by 9:00 am thier it was a lot of unexpected rush, and we came to know that it is due to Full moon day, Temple location is awesone, it's in the valley of Kumarparvatha ( second highest peak of Karnataka) and looks unarguably beautiful. We went inside and found that we should go inside by removing our Shirts and Baniyan Oops. Ok before something comes to ur mind i want to specify that this condition is only for males. Ok we were having no problem in it and all removed their clothes just looking at each other's face, so we were ready to go inside. We all had darshan of Kuke subramanya inside, i think i can't describe it in words... it's the feeling one can understand after reaching there. I came to know about the concept of removing the clothes before darshan, it is said that it creates a direct connection of human heart with the god.

Next we took the blessing( they said it blessing) of Elephant by keeping one rupee in it trunk. Elephant was well trained it was taking one rupee coin from the hand and giving it to it's owner, and then keeping the trunk on the person's head smoothly.

Next we went to nearby Adi Subramanya temple, having one more nice experince. came out had a small photo session in front of Kumarparvatha beautiful greenry.

I gave a pose and after seeing it i laugh loudly, look at it...

We were running out of time for Dhramsthala so packed off from there, and started toward the dhramasthala, it took one and half hour to go there, But after reaching there we saw the Holy crowd in front of us. We kept our footwear in trax and moved toward the temple the road was burning from the heat of the sun, and we were Jumping and running on road. after seeing the Queue for the darshan our hopes went down, since the darshan queue was some 2 km long in the form of Rotating lines, there were three Big Halls in which the queues path is formed with iron rodas and net. I think this was the first time i stayed in the Queue for this much time, my friends told me it is nothing we should be in queue for one or two days at Tirupati. Anyhow we Crossed each and every levels of queue by moving like a Tortoise. We had Darshan of Sri Manjunatheswara,
dharma_idol
Had our Prasad. Prasad was served in aanapoorna hall, there the Sevak were working amazingly fast they were serving the Prasad for thousand of people just 10-15 minutes. and prasad was of very good quality and tasty.

We came out of the temple, and moved to the Car Museum since still some time was left, on the way a Aeroplane was there and we got a point were we could give the pose like " "Rang De Basanti". So stayed for some time .. and after jumping some 7-8 times we got one nice pose. Entry ticket was 3 rs for car Museum, and we were surpised why it is so cheap, for the exhibition of those precious cars. The following is list of cars we saw over there Sorry friendas Photography was strictly prohibited in the compound and even there were no photos for selling; but it's a very informative place for car lovers....

-: Trip To Coorg n Madikeri :-

Hi friends,
One More trip is planned by our trip co-ordinator Subbu last week, as all of us have finished thire internal seminars and Demo and were relaxed for the weekend. and there was no doubt for the trip place, as Subbu suggested for Coorg n Madekeri trip all got agree, and our previous trip Mahindra trax is booked again for 6 May Saturaday. Morning 5:00 am itself all were ready with their bags, everyone was smiling beyond the limit of lips, either because of trip or finishing of demo and seminars... So the trip started with full of enthusiasm. 10 of us were missing our friend GURU, Rudrashetty, Pradeep.

we had out breakfast at B.C.Road where a small event happened, we ordered for Puri Bhaji and he gave cold Puries with Hot bhaji. We all were like Cold puries ... Ummm how to eat.
i went to owner and asked, Don't u have Hot puries.. and he was like "Here we didn't sevrve hot puries" that owner was like 60 year old ... but i got angered after listen this .. and asked "How u served Tea and cofee here, Weather we will get Cold tea or Coffee"
And that old man was like i shooted a .5mm bullete on him, "Errrr Tea and Coffee we will give Hot" Somehow my friends made me kool and i also thought not to make further argument with him.

Anyways after Breakfast and 4 hours of journey we reached Talakaveri, it is situated in the Brahmagiri hills in Kodagu district, Karnataka, is the place where the River Kaveri originates. The river begins here as a small perennial spring, but flows underground again to emerge a short distance away. It is situated at a height of 4187 feet (1,276 m), and is 7 km away from and Bhagamandala, 48 km from Madikeri. On Tulasankramana day (October 17) thousands of pilgrims flock to the river’s birthplace to witness the miraculous rise of the fountainhead, when water gushes up from the spring at a predetermined moment. We saw the sacred holy water of kaveri and it's originating point and moved towards the Brahmagiri Hills after some 10 min of climbing we reached at to peak of the hill. and it was an awesome look from there... check photos..

We stayed for one and half hour here and then moved to the Madekeri City where we had our lunch in very resturant, the food was the Yummist food at very cheap rate.. 30 rs/person, Buffet system and good quality food. We moved to Raja's Seat and there again a beautyfull look of Nature, green Valley,

it was sweet brezee over there, we all just closed our eyes and felt the sweetness of the wind. There we all have taken some 100 of photos, whole session to keep photos at orkut and all... Since every one wants the photos from different angle and with different background, it took nearly 2 hours.. then we moved to near by place Abbi falls some 8 km far from there... it is in someone private dense farm, we have to walk for 10 min to see the first glimpse of rocking Abbi falls,

We could not take bath over there since the lack of time, but the awesomw look was worth to go for it. Had tea and coffee outside the abbi falls and finished off with our places to visit for the day. So started to move back...to HOSTEL with 4 hr of journey....

-: Hari Mirchi ka kamaal :-

When i was little, i think 5-6 year old, our family went to summer holiday at village, as part of every year trip to village. There i saw the pile of green chilly, may be it was my first time to see these many green chilly at one place. Since i was fond of sweets, and it's impossible for me to think to eat chilly. That day my mother gave me green chilly( she wants me to be able to eat every kind of eatables especially rather then sweets) to eat and i started crying as she forced me.

Then my grandmother came and told me "Eat this and u will grow very fast as it is medicine of growing and u will become like your Uncle(5' 10"inches height). now it was the thing everychild want to be "Since they r being prevented to do so many thing since they r small" I think we all know those things and i am not going to mention. So she gave me the Chilly and to become a big person immediately i eat some 4 to 5 chilly with that dinner.

Soon my elder brother came and i jumped towards him with some 4-5 chilly, and told him "Bhiya is Mirch ko Khane se bahut jaldi bade hoo jate hein" (we grows fast by eating these chillies) I ate these and i am growing very fast, see i became of same height as you( by Jumping towards his shoulder). If u want to look like my elder brother then eat these chillies... otherwise i will overtake you and u will be shorter then me.... and everyone was laughing at me... How innocent i was... Still they Pinches me by reminding the event :-)
